In 2018, the Georgia Chamber established the '8 for 18' initiative in an effort to assist both policymakers and voters to make informed choices in the General Election. This platform represents the priorities of businesses of all sizes and defines what it means to be a "pro-business" candidate. While each candidate from the 2018 General Election completed the Georgia Chamber's Statewide Candidate Questionnaire and had their own unique perspectives, it was and still is essential that our elected officials address the eight priorities listed below:
